The young brain's anatomical restructuring is thought to continue until the age of 25, and smaller changes continue throughout life...
"But in the heat of
the moment, an adolescent's decision-making ability can be overly
influenced by emotions; i.e., their brains are predisposed to the limbic system (the emotional seat of the brain) more
so than the more rational prefrontal cortex."
I very much doubt that Kyle Rittenhouse had a well
developed pre-frontal cortex... and he will undoubtedly suffer the
consequences...
Yet what remains the reason for
someone who will celebrate their 68th birthday in a few weeks???
I don't know either!!!
