DO RAINBOWS MAKE YOU WEEP [FAR MORE] THAN SOLAR ECLIPSES

...  COULD  EVER  DO ?

... How about the approaching
finale of summer, with its kaleidoscope of colOrs?
(and the glorious memories that FULLY accompany them)?

“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”

“Life is much more successfully
looked at from a single window.”

“All I kept thinking about, over and over, was 'You can't live forever; you can't live forever.”                 ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

What makes me weep is that 'other' line made superbly immortal by Jay Gatsby: "Summer's almost over... It's sad, isn't it? Makes you want to - I don't know -
reach out and hold it back".

“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly
into the past.”
― F. Scott FitzgeraldThe Great Gatsby

YET ... “Life starts all over
again when it gets crisp in the fall.”
