I'M ALL ABOUT ANNUAL TRIBUTES

Each left upon a summer wind:

The seventh month, and June;

One departed 4:00 AM,

The other close to noon.

I touch the memories left by both –
Some poignant and some light –
Such keepsakes yield tremendous dreams...
Into this quiet night.

JUST CALL IT WHAT IT IS...

THE UGLY FACE OF DECEIT

Full of **** and dipped in gall:

The lying tongue of Sen. Paul;

I hear he's NOT board certified;

His attitude's thus unjustified.

If anyone's lying

I trust it is HIM;

Randal H. Paul,

"The Conservative Sin"

Uniquely American: The Red, White and Blue

America sang a song last night,

Its darkened sky burst into light;

In crimson hues, it sang of hope:

An optimist's kaleidoscope...

At least the world can vary sweet

Amidst life's reckoning,

Against defeat...

Independence speaks for all;

Red, white and blue

Inspires, enthralls...

July the 4th makes sundown best;

Pyrotechnic images

Emerge quite well-dressed;

Each one delivers,

Robust and strong;

America's symphony,

Exploding in song!!

HE WAS WORLDLY, HE WAS WITTY...

...and oh! so rich

 Cole Porter

“In olden days a glimpse of stocking was looked on as something shocking. Now, Heaven knows, anything goes. The world has gone mad today, and good's bad today, and black's white today, and day's night today....”
