Autumn's caught,

"Bereaving"...

Early snow

'at work':

Un-leaving.

Sodden scenes

Exhale,

Grow older.

Sorrows sown

By time,

Wax bolder.

Covered leaves,

Spread thick and hurried;

Winter whispers:

Wild, un-worried.

Now, I'd state

Now this brew is

Strained by Newt;

Lends this soup

Such slippery slime.

Our toxic brew

Is ripe for fleas!
