A NAME DERIVED FROM JANUS

January

Again I reply to the triple winds
running chromatic fifths of derision
outside my window:

Play louder...                     You will not succeed. I am
bound more to my sentences
the more you batter at me
to follow you...
                                  And the wind,
as before, fingers perfectly
its derisive music.

Channeling G.M. Hopkins

Ode to an Early Snow
Autumn's caught,
"Bereaving"...
Early snow
'at work':
Un-leaving.

Sodden scenes
Exhale,
Grow older.
Sorrows sown
By time,
Wax bolder.

Covered leaves,
Spread thick and hurried;
Winter whispers:
Wild, un-worried.

Is this cycle
One you mourn for?
('Tis the fate
All souls were
Born for).

UTTER TOXICITY!

ONE REALLY TOXIC BREW...

     IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT!!!

Take one trenchant
Tongue of 'spin';
Fold it under,
Tuck it in...
Add to this
A plastic chin;
Now, I'd state
Our work begins!
Stir in squirrels' nests,
Satan's smirk;
A toothy  grin,
Rosacea's 'perk'.

Add some hair  grease,
Molt from coats;
Now this brew is
Primed to float!

Brassy- bubble,
Strained by Newt;
Huckabee-Sanders,
What a hoot!!

One bare chest

( The Russian kind);
Lends this soup
Such slippery slime.

Botox, fillers;
Wives, 1-2-3!!
Our toxic brew
Is ripe for fleas!

Eye of Mongol;
Eye of Hun (see below);

Oh!  I'd say
Our soup is done!!!
YUK !!!!!

But Jared added one more trick
to give this potion extra kick!

WORDS FROM A RAGING SPIRIT

The glory of justice and the majesty of law are created not just by the Constitution - nor by the courts - nor by the officers of the law - nor by the lawyers - but by the men and women who constitute our society - who are the protectors of the law as they are themselves protected by the law.

 Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.

Everything that makes man's life worthwhile - family, work, education, a place to rear one's children and a place to rest one's head - all this depends on the decisions of government; all can be swept away by a government which does not heed the demands of its people, and I mean all of its people.
... well said, Bobby Kennedy!
