'MANAFORT': He's NOT the best MAN

PAUL MANAFORT HAS NOT WORKED IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE UNITED STATES

"Paul Manafort, who is a veteran Republican lobbyist and consultant, has made millions of dollars 'working the system' on behalf of corporations seeking government favors as well as Third World strongmen and kleptocrats… such as Putin".

CAGEY, AND JUST PLAIN "PLAIGY"

pla·gia·rism
ˈplājəˌrizəm
pla·gia·rism
noun
1.    the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
synonyms:

informal use : cribbing

NOUN
1.
an act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not crediting the original author:

It is said that he plagiarized Thoreau's plagiarism of a line written by Montaigne.

2.
a piece of writing or other work reflecting such unauthorized use or imitation:
“These two manuscripts are clearly plagiarisms,” the editor said,tossing them angrily on the floor. "Melania Trump has clearly lifted  much of the content from the former 2008 speech of FLOTUS Michelle Obama".

"Oh, I almost forgot...We are the champions of the world!"

P.S. Turns out Melania is a college drop-out, as well; and she lied about this BIG-TIME!

AS YOU ONCE STOOD WITH US, WE (AGAIN) STAND WITH YOU...

*BASTILLE DAY 2016*

Before the terror comes the tyranny.
A bloodstained flower has roots in bloodstained soil.
Some would steal the fruit of others' toil,
Then claim it as a right of property.
In revolutions, though, if chaos reigns,
Legitimacy is lost, and many will
Look back with less distaste at former ill,
Eager more for order than for gains.
Days of terror yield dictators new,
As the many yield power to the few,
Yearning for the clarity of chains.

Beware of inequalities too wide
And chasms that cannot be bridged by dreams.
Societies fray first along the seams,
Then rip apart, exposing rot inside.
In chaos hopes for liberty abide;
Life in its Edenic newness gleams;
Longing is more brutal than it seems;
Ecstatic demons 'cross the wastelands glide.
Do, then, recall the day of the Bastille
As one whose burst of glory would reveal
Yearnings that would stain the turning tide.

VIVE LA FRANCE

THOSE "DOGGEREL DAYS" of SUMMER…

THEY ARE  A COMIN'

Sirius rises late in the dark, liquid sky
On summer nights, star of stars,
Orion's Dog they call it, brightest
Of all, but an evil portent, bringing heat
And fevers to suffering humanity
