A DECLARATION OF SORTS...but only if asked

AND WHAT MIGHT '2017' DECLARE...

If Asked?
******
We bid a calendar-year adieu 3 weeks ago; yet, in doing so, do we always acknowledge the 'good' that was intermingled with those things considered 'bad'? Certainly not everything that transpired in the last 12 months was horrifying. (Of course, electing a temerarious lout to public office is still a bitter pill to swallow). On a personal note, I lost a parent after the latter suffered through the spring and early summer with terminal cancer, but had also felt immense joy when gaining another beautiful grandson a year ago. Two very celebratory family weddings additionally took place, one in June and one in August, in 2017.

Hence to answer the earlier question, I am obliged to summon the faculty of
 'poetic license'...
Thus, imaging what 2017 might intone, if given a literal voice:
Never look back on this year and weep:
Mellifluous memories simply feign sleep.
I am a brilliant dreams that grow: nacreous  images parting the snow. I am the warmth that lightens pain; I am those gentle, winsome rains. When wakened in the morning dew, I am the sunrise, clean and new. Near hummingbirds in docile flight, I trace the stars that paint the night. I smile when hearing soft good-byes; my spirit crests in bluest skies. Select the path that's traveled less; it's full of hope, not stark duress. Don't mourn a year that's now gone by... It left sweet memories:
[ It did not 'die']

YES...EVERY SO OFTEN

THERE COMES
A TIME WHEN SILENCE
IS BETRAYAL ...

STOP  the silence; moreover, vote to impeach  our  s***-h***  president!!
He does not represent
American values.

Mr. Trump = Little Man!!!
